Theoretical-experimental approaches to the radiative properties of trivalent rare-earth ions in glass materials
Study of optical properties of trivalent lanthanide ions in phosphate and fluorophosphate glasses. Structure-properties relations of glassy materials are analyzed through spectroscopic techniques (optical absorption and emission, emissions lifetimes) aligned with theoretical models (Judd-Ofelt theory, ion-ion energy transfer).
